Everett D. Stanley, Rex G. Chase, Rudolf Walz Scholarship Endowment for International Studies
This scholarship is awarded annually to undergraduate Pacific University students who have attained sophomore or higher standing, have financial need, have demonstrated a commitment fo service to others and desire to study abroad. Applicants should be planning to study abroad by participating in a Pacific University travel course or an approved semester or year abroad through Pacific's International Programs. Complete this application to be considered for both scholarships. Scholarships generally range between $500 to $1,500. Deadline to apply is June 1.
Student Senate Travel Abroad Scholarship
The Student Senate Travel Abroad Scholarship is a short-term study abroad scholarship. The Undergraduate Student Senate recognizes the benefits of experience abroad, and shares the University’s goal of promoting diversity and exposure to other culture. There will be multiple $1,000 grants offered to full time students who have little or no experience abroad and those with high financial need. The goal of this grant is to increase cultural awareness for students who would otherwise not be able to gain it. Recipients must prepare a 5-10 minute presentation upon returning from their travel to help promote the experience and the various study abroad programs. Contact Student Senate for more information.
