The Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission’s requirements for college and university operations require that universities close their campuses in order to create healthier learning, working and living spaces for students and employees. Pacific buildings are open to students and employees only. Community members are encouraged to limit time on campus grounds and are required to wear masks on university property.

Fall term plans will focus on flexibility for students, safety
Football, soccer, rowing and volleyball will be postponed. Cross country, golf and tennis will be permitted to play this fall. “We are committed to supporting our student-athletes and their experience through these challenging times,” said Pacific University Athletic Director Keith Buckley. “Our coaches and staff continue to work diligently in developing a plan to provide our student-athletes a safe and valuable experience both this fall, as well as into the winter/spring competition schedules.”
Pacific University's Eugene Campus is now located on the main campus of Lane Community College.
