As part of moving our new Strategic Plan forward, this fall Pacific completed its first round of inviting employees to pitch strategic project ideas that can help us achieve our new Strategic Plan objectives — and the results are in!
It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Dr. Lucy Dubin, our beloved vice president of human resources. Dr. Dubin passed away peacefully on December 8, surrounded by her loved ones. You can honor her legacy by donating to an organization in her name.
Your generous donations will make the holidays extra special for over 80 children in the Western Farm Workers Association.
We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the kindness and support you have all shown to the HR team over the past two weeks. The loss of Lucy has been a deeply emotional and challenging time for all of us, and we are incredibly thankful for the compassion, empathy, and strength you have all provided during this difficult period.
Time Cards for the pay period from 12/15/2024 to 12/28/2024 must be updated and approved by 10 a.m. on 12/30/2024. Holiday hours should be submitted in Paycom using the Time Off Request feature at least through 12/28/2024 to be paid on 1/3/2025.
Upcoming Events
Please join us on the Forest Grove campus tomorrow (May 1st) in the MPR (Multi-Purpose Room in the basement of the University Center). Drop in anytime from 11am to 1:30pm.
All are welcome to join the Alumni Association for this meaningful time of reflection. Held quarterly, the Remembrance Ceremony honors our alumni and friends who have recently died.
Please join us on the Hillsboro campus will take place on May 2nd in the Atrium of Building 2. Drop in anytime between 11:30am to 1pm.
Stop by and recharge for finals! There will be food, giveaways, crafts, therapy dogs and a llama!
All are welcome to drop in at Old College Hall to learn the history of the building and its place in Pacific University's history.
