Announcements
As travel begins during the winter break, your safety is our utmost concern. The university wants to remind those who do not carry a valid U.S. passport to be cognizant of potential changes to the immigration landscape in the United States. We want every member of our community to be informed and feel safe this winter break season. Please find additional information in your email, dated Dec. 11, 2024.
The Finders Keepers Free Store remains open for members of the Pacific community (Boxer ID required to open the door) during the Winter break. If you cleaning house before or after the holidays, donations are also accepted 24/7.
We are working toward ambitious fundraising goals to support Pacific University students through the Boxer Spirit Fund and Student Emergency Fund, and we could use your help!
Staff Senate's Staff Professional Development Committee is hosting two wellness workshops led by Pacific's Mental Health Promotion and Prevention Specialist Graham Turner. The 90-minute workshops are titled Same Soup; Different Spoon: Cultivating Self-Compassionate Coping.
Join the Pacific University American Marketing Association and the Boxer Buisiness Group in our efforts to fill the College of Business professional clothing closet. Donate clothing of any size or style on October 27.

Sarah Cavanaugh, author of Mind Over Monsters: Supporting Youth Mental Health with Compassionate Challenge, will visit campus on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. A wide variety of events will be planned on both the Hillsboro and Forest Grove campuses, inviting students, faculty, and staff to engage with Prof. Cavanaugh and the concept of “compassionate challenge” in the college classroom. Please save the the date and learn how you can prepare for her visit.
