Pacific is working with the city of Forest Grove to conserve water. Beginning Monday, June 20, the university is shutting down the irrigation system on the Forest Grove Campus and will not be watering the lawn or plants for approximately one week. Water will still be available to students on campus in summer housing.
Twenty years ago, Gina Bell ʼ00 was building roads and diversifying crops with the Peace Corps in Paraguay. She didn’t expect this work to lead to her current managerial position with the city of Dubuque.
Student Affairs is excited to announce Jonathon Hyde, EdD as its new Dean of Students. Dr. Hyde brings twenty years of progressively responsible student affairs experience at a variety of universities, including private, public, land-grant, Ivy League and flagship institutions.
Students registered with the College of Health Professions, plus CHP faculty and staff, are invited to a free eight-week program incorporating mindfulness-based stress reduction, resilience, and mindful communication techniques geared towards health care professionals and students. Register for a Sept. 22 orientation. Classes begin Sept. 30.
