Psychological Health & Well-Being Program Outcomes
After Pacific | Graduates have the tools for an interdisciplinary approach to health and well-being while pursuing careers in the social, health, mental health services or pursuing graduate study in the health professions, social work, or counseling and/or clinical psychology.
Learning Outcomes
Students who complete the Minor in Psychological Health and Well-being will:
- Understand the connections between biological, psychological, and physical health;
- Learn about the research and theory on stress and its management;
- Explore mechanisms for promotion, prevention, and intervention aimed at enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities; and
- Apply skills and competencies through activities such as civic engagement, campus programs, leadership opportunities, and/or community-based placements.
