Post-Baccalaureate Data Science Certificate Curriculum

The post-baccalaureate data science certificate program requirements include courses in one of two tracks: the machine learning track or the statistical learning track.

The data science post-baccalaureate coursework in machine learning track starts in the fall semester of even years. Data science post-bacc coursework in statistical learning starts in the fall semester of odd years.

Students with a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field who do not have two semester courses of computer science fundamentals (or equivalent experience) and/or 2 semester courses of calculus must complete (or be in the process of completing) prerequisite coursework to apply to the Pacific University post-baccalaureate program in data science.

Students admitted to the post-baccalaureate program must complete all prerequisite coursework prior to registering as a student.
