Students with a self-designed major at Pacific University tailor their course of study to their own interests and goals by enrolling in an interdisciplinary cross-section of courses.
This option is for students with exceptional self-discipline and self-direction. Students must have at least a 3.0 grade point average to apply for a self-designed major and maintain a GPA of at least 3.2 throughout their course of study.
Each student works with faculty to design a course of study and completes and submits a plan for approval.
