Dr. Fan Chen Granted Tenure at Pacific University

Dr. Fan Chen has been promoted from assistant to associate professor and granted indefinite tenure at Pacific University.

Dr. Chen is a faculty member in the Pacific University College of Business, where he is a highly dedicated and committed instructor and serves as a mentor for both undergraduate and graduate business programs. 

His research focus is corporate bonds and fixed income, and he publishes extensively in peer reviewed journals. His recent publication on mergers and acquisitions was awarded the Journal of Economics and Business Best Paper Prize.

Dr. Chen holds a PhD in finance from the University of Oklahoma. He previously taught at SUNY-Oneonta before joining Pacific University in Fall 2018.
