Welcome to Pacific University!

Since our earliest foundation as Tualatin Academy, established in 1849, Pacific University has been committed to offering meaningful and accessible educational opportunities to everyone.

Today, we are the only comprehensive university in Washington County, Ore., offering undergraduate, graduate and professional programs, along with healthcare clinics serving the greater Portland/Vancouver area and an early childhood/elementary school on our Forest Grove Campus.

Our mission is to inspire students to think, care, create and pursue justice in the world. Whether you study in the liberal arts and sciences, business, education, health professions, or optometry, at Pacific University, you gain an education that prepares you to find your bliss.

As an alumna, faculty member, and parent, I have experienced those opportunities firsthand, and I am proud to lead our university into our next chapter as its 18th president.
