Financial Conflict of Interest Disclosure
All faculty members with 0.5 FTE or greater appointments must submit a Conflict of Interest Disclosure annually, consistent with university policy. Please refer to Pacific University's COI page. Additionally, when submitting a proposal to conduct research regulated by the IRB, the IACUC, and the IBC, you are required to disclose COIs related to the study (financial or otherwise) within the proposal.
Externally sponsored researchers have additional annual disclosure requirements. To promote objectivity in the conduct of sponsored projects, Pacific University has a responsibility to manage conflicts of interest that arise during the period of performance for externally-funded research. The Research Financial Conflict of Interest disclosure policy applies to Pacific University employees and students who are responsible for the design, conduct, or reporting of research programs funded by applicable external sponsors.
