Step 1: Contact Your Admissions Counselor

We have a dedicated counselor just for transfer students. Talk to an expert about the application and transfer process.

Step 2: Schedule Your Pre-Transfer Advising Session

Pacific accepts the AAOT (Oregon), DTA (Washington), LBRT (Hawai‘i), and IGETC and CSU-Breadth (California) associate degrees as block transfer degrees fulfilling the majority of our general education core requirements. We also maintain transfer agreements with community colleges in Oregon and Hawai‘i. Our academic advisors can walk you through how your classes will transfer and provide pre-transfer support.

Step 3: Complete the Transfer Application

Transfer students use a dedicated online application form. You’ll need the basics of your personal and academic information to complete the form. A minimum GPA of 2.7 (cumulative in all college coursework at all colleges and universities attended) is preferred for admission.

The transfer application also requires a letter of recommendation from an academic advisor, teacher or appropriate faculty member. Upload it to your application or email it to us later.

Step 4: Send In Your Supporting Docs

Letter of Recommendation Required: If you didn’t include a letter of recommendation on your application, email it directly to us at admissions@pacificu.edu.

Official Transcripts Required: Order official transcripts to be sent to Pacific directly from any colleges you have attended. If you have earned fewer than 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours of transferable credit — or if you earned college credit while in high school — have your high school transcripts sent as well.
