SLP Guaranteed Admission
The Pacific University Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology Program participates in Pacific’s Guaranteed Grad School Admission Program. Students may apply for the SLP Program as soon as they commit to Pacific as undergraduates or transfer students, or during their junior year.
Students who are admitted through the Guaranteed Grad School Admissions Program are guaranteed a place in Pacific’s speech-language pathology program if they:
- Complete a bachelor’s degree, in good standing, at Pacific University, including these prerequisite courses;
- Earn at least a 3.25 GPA in the last 60 credits of the undergraduate study (a C or better in all prerequisite courses) OR have the recommendation of an undergraduate advisor;
- Submit two letters of support from Pacific School of Communication Sciences & Disorders faculty indicating no concerns;
- Complete a satisfactory interview with CSD faculty and a community partner.
Students who sign up for the guaranteed grad school admission program and complete these requirements may enroll in the CSD program immediately following graduation. Students may also take a break between graduation and beginning grad school, but they must enroll within two years of completing their bachelor’s degree.
