Create a GradCAS Account
The Pacific University Master of Education program uses the online GradCAS for all application materials. Start by creating your GradCAS account. Your application link may vary based on when you plan to begin the MEd program.
Complete Your Online Application
All information will need to go to GradCAS. If you have any questions, please start with the GradCAS Help Center. We’re also happy to answer questions: teach@pacificu.edu.
Your application will include:
Resume
Highlight your work with youth and/or an education setting.
Official College Transcripts
Submit official transcripts from every institution you have attended. Transcripts must be sent directly to GradCAS.
If you have completed international coursework, a course-by-course evaluation will be required through a credential agency, such as WES or ECE. Please allow extra time for this process. An official copy of the evaluation must be sent to GradCAS by the deadline.
References
You will provide contact information for two references on the GradCAS. Your references should be individuals who can speak to your ability to your ability to work with preK through 12th-grade youth.
Teacher Standards and Practices Commission Survey
This series of questions is required by the State of Oregon and is built into GradCAS.
Teaching License
Upload a copy of your teaching license.
English Proficiency Requirement
A satisfactory command of the English language is required for admission to Pacific University, prior to admission. Please note that this requirement applies to all applicants if English is not their native language, including permanent residents and citizens.
Submit Your GradCAS
When the GradCAS is completed, submit and pay the fee of $38 to GradCAS.
Once Pacific University receives your completed GradCAS we will contact you for the next steps.The process may speed up as the start date for the program approaches. We look forward to reviewing your materials!
