Audiology Prerequisite Courses

Core courses in human biology/biological sciences, physical sciences, statistics, and social/behavioral sciences are required for admission to the AuD program.

Demonstration of knowledge and skills in core areas is necessary during doctoral audiology study. The Audiology Admissions Committee may advise a student to pursue additional pre- or post-baccalaureate study in specific areas, or other preparation, to help strengthen the student’s application for admission.

Deadline for Courses

Science courses must have been taken within the last 10 years from the start of the program in August. Courses do not need to be completed before applying to the program or the application deadline, but if admitted, must be completed before the program begins in August.

Unofficial Prerequisites Worksheet

The unofficial prerequisites worksheet is designed to help you determine which prerequisites you have fulfilled and those which you have remaining to meet the admissions requirements for the doctor of audiology (AuD) program at Pacific University.

Completed worksheets can be submitted via email, fax, or postal mail. If you choose to submit your worksheet via email, attach a copy of your unofficial transcripts to the email message.

It can take approximately two weeks for you to receive your evaluation back with our comments.
