Advance Your Pharmacy Career
The Pacific University School of Pharmacy offers several post-graduate opportunities for pharmacists who have earned their PharmD to gain advanced experience and training in clinical practice or discovery research.
Our post-graduate pharmacy opportunities include residencies for students one or two years out of their PHarmD degree, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship.
The Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) pharmacy residency is offered by Pacific in collaboration with Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center and focuses on community pharmacy.
The Post-Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) pharmacy residency is offered by Pacific in collaboration with Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center and focuses on ambulatory care and academia.
The Postdoctoral Fellow offers post-graduates an opportunity to advance the field of pharmaceutical sciences through research.
As our school and university have a primary focus on teaching, the residents and fellows also gain experience in the various aspects of academic pharmacy.
