NMDP Get in the Game℠ uses the power and influence of college athletics to recruit more students to the NMDP Registry℠ to become potential blood stem cell donors. Teams participate in the program by hosting registry recruitment events to help motivate more students and athletes to join. A blood stem cell transplant can cure or treat more than 75 diseases, including blood cancers and other blood disorders like sickle cell. NMDPSM, formerly Be The Match® and the National Marrow Donor Program®, connects thousands of patients every year with a matching donor for the chance at a life-saving transplant.
With NMDP Get in the Game, good goes a long way.
