You are invited to us in celebrating the retirement of Narce Rodriguez, Student Affairs vice president and chief Equity, Diversity and Inclusion officer.
Rodriguez is retiring after more than 30 years in higher education, the last six of which she served as Pacific University's chief Equity, Diversity and Inclusion officer prior to her promotion as vice president of Student Affairs. During her tenure, Pacific expanded it’s EDI efforts, implemented a Bias and Hate Incident Reporting System, promoted professional development opportunities and workshops and reinvigorated outreach to BIPOC faculty, staff and students.
She previously worked at Portland Community College, Portland State University and Oregon State University, and currently serves a board member for Centro Cultural, Latino Policy Council and the Forest Grove School District.
Rodriguez is looking forward to spending her retirement traveling with her family and enjoying time with her grandchildren.
Please join us in the Marsh Hall first floor Lobby for refreshments from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13.
You are invited to share a personal written or video message via this submission link, by Dec. 7. Submissions will be collected and shared during the retirement celebration.
