Please join the University Libraries for a reception on March 12 to celebrate our current exhibition of protest memorabilia, photos, and rare publications from the 1970s-present, from the collection of local feminist activist Mary Whitmore. Items on display tell the story of fifty years of her work for the Equal Rights Amendment, reproductive rights, and gender equity. The reception will include a program of about 30 minutes featuring Martha Rampton, Pacific University Professor Emeritus of History, providing historical commentary on feminist activism and how it relates to current political events, and Mary Whitmore will also be in attendance! Students, faculty, staff, and the public are all welcome.

The reception will take place in the Tran Library on March 12, 2025, 4–5:30 pm.
