Welcome, new Boxers!

Orientation will be your first real taste of life as a Boxer. Whether you are coming here as a First-Year student or transferring to Pacific, it is tailored to fit you. This page and the sublinks will help answer questions you may have about what to expect. 

You can find information and answers to all your questions about summer to-do deadlines, coming to campus, move-in day, housing assignments, mail services, student accounts, orientation programming, and more here. Check these resources often as they will provide you with the most comprehensive information as you prepare to arrive on campus. Full New Student Orientation schedule is now live! 

Students and their parents (or other supporters they have indicated) will also receive emails throughout the summer with reminders about important deadlines and updates. Parents and supporters can opt into communications here. 

Fall Semester 2024 Move-In Dates (NSO)

Check-In and Move-In for New Students: 

• Check-in for Students & Families: Thursday, August 22 on Marsh Hall Lawn - 9:00 a.m. to noon on move-in day. Residential students first stop upon arrival should be the NSO check-in tent to pick up your student ID, room key, nametag, and more, then proceed to their residence hall for move in. 
• New Student move-in will take place from 9:15 a.m. to noon on move-in day.
• Students participating in required early arrival programs such as Fall Athletics and International Orientation will move in on the following dates (and will receive more detailed information from Orientation and their program in July): 
  • August 14: Football
  • August 16: Cross Country, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Volleyball, Spirit Squad: 
  • August 18, 20 or 21: International Programs
• Optional Early Move-Ins: August 19-24, during selected times (typically 6-7 pm daily), students may opt to arrive early without needing pre-approval. Additionally, some programs may require students to arrive during these times and will notify students if this is the case. 

New Student Orientation: Thursday, August 22 - Sunday, August 25

• Parents and families, join us on August 22 & 23 for exciting activities including Orientation Check-in, College 101 sessions, and a special Parent Mixer. Say your farewells at the Sign, Shake and Ring on Friday, concluding the Family Orientation Program by 6:00 p.m.
