Spanish Healthcare Interpreter Program Registration Fee
Registration Fee: $1,075
Registration fee includes the cost of the training program, textbooks, and shipping of textbooks.
Participants will receive:
- A 64-hour textbook for healthcare interpreters
- English-Spanish Medical Glossary for healthcare interpreters
- Mental Health Glossary
- Training certificate of completion from Bridging the Gap (BTG)
How to Pay Your Registration Fee:
Please do not pay the registration fee until you have received confirmation from our office that your application is complete and that you are eligible to register for the program.
Participants can opt to pay the registration fee in full in one (1) payment of $1,075, or to pay the registration fee in two (2) installment payments of $537.50 each. Payments can be made by debit or credit card via our online payment portal. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards. Payments can also be paid by check in the mail, but please note that your check must be received by the January 14, 2025 registration deadline. Please find the payment deadlines and the link to our payment portal below.
Spring 2025 Cohort Payment Deadlines:
For those who choose to pay the registration fee in full in one (1) payment, the payment deadline is January 14, 2025.
For those who choose to pay their registration fee in two (2) installment payments*, the payment deadlines are as follows:
Installment Payment 1 ($537.50): Due by December 31, 2024
Installment Payment 2 ($537.50): Due by January 14, 2025
*note that participants who opt to pay their registration fee in the two (2) installment payments will be required to sign a payment agreement. Once you confirm your intention to register for the upcoming cohort, our program administrator will send the payment agreement to you electronically for your electronic signature.
Important Payment Portal Instructions:
- The link above will direct you to our payment portal.
- Under Products, click on the payment method of your choice (Payment in Full or Installment Payment 1 option).
- Click the Add to Cart button.
- Enter your name and address information.
- Click on Checkout.
- When prompted to create a user name and password, please bypass this section and scroll down to Checkout As Guest.
- Follow the rest of the prompts to enter your payment information and complete your payment.
Payments can also be made by check in the mail but must be received by January 14, 2025. Please indicate in the check memo line that the payment is for the Spanish Healthcare Interpreter program (SHIP) and mail it to the address below:

Refund Policy
- Refund requests should be emailed to Amber Vanzant at amber.vanzant@pacificu.edu.
- Cancellation notice of the Spanish Healthcare Interpreter training program must be given in writing 10 days prior to the first day of the training to receive a full (100%) refund.
- Cancellations made after the 10-day deadline will receive a fifty percent (50%) refund.
- No refunds will be offered if the participant attends any portion of the training and then discontinues attendance for the remainder of the event, including no-shows.
All refunds will be issued as checks in the mail in the University's next available check run. Please note that it may take up to two weeks to receive a refund check.
