Reading Intervention Endorsement Careers & Outcomes
Candidates develop skills to serve as the Reading Specialists in their schools and districts and to support students in preK-12 classrooms. Candidates learn how to carry out the curricular, instructional, assessment, supervisory and staff-development roles and responsibilities that are the typical duties of the school’s or district’s Reading Specialist. Through the Science of Reading framework, candidates also develop skills to support children who may have a specified learning disorder. Candidates enrolled in the Reading Intervention Endorsement earn the Dyslexia Certificate as a part of their program.
