Pacific University uses HandShake (joinhandshake.com), a free job posting site for employers. Students and alumni are directed here to search for internships, work-study, summer jobs, part-time jobs, and full-time positions.  We also send Job Blast emails to students with opportunities on a frequent basis. 

Getting Help with Student Employment

Several offices support elements of student employment while at Pacific University—there is not one single office or person in charge.  When you need help with something related to student employment, use the chart below to navigate to the right office to answer your question.  In general, Financial Aid helps students with financial issues and work study eligibility, Academic and Career Advising helps students find opportunities, make the most of college employment for their future careers, and supports faculty and staff in facilitating student employment as a learning opportunity. Human Resources handles questions about Paycom, posting student jobs, hiring/onboarding, time cards, payroll, employment eligibility, and supervising student workers.
