New Transfer Student Steps
New transfer students will meet with an advisor 1-on-1 in June to register for classes. Virtual and in-person appointments are available. Admissions and the Registrar's Office is hard at work processing your college transcripts. Please make sure to send official transcripts from all previous colleges you have attended, and any AP/IB official score reports if applicable.

-
What you need to do:

Step 2: Complete the Academic Interest Survey (AIS)
-
Purpose: Provides your academic advisors more information about your educational and career goals as well as your past educational history. This allows you to register for courses that align with your interests and goals!
-
What you need to do: Complete the Academic Interest Survey (this should take less than 30 minutes).
-
Outcome: Completing the AIS gets you one step closer to being able to schedule your Advising & Registration meeting
-
The AIS may prompt you to complete the World Language and/or Math Placements (check your student email for directions after you complete the AIS).
-
-
Support: Please contact advisingcenter@pacificu.edu if you have any questions or would like to take the language or math placements even if not prompted by the AIS.
Step 3: Send final transcripts (from all previous colleges*)
*If you have earned less than 45 quarter credits (or less than 30 semester credits), please also send us your high school transcript. We need transcripts with FINAL GRADES through your most recent college quarter/semester to begin advising and registration. If we do not have these on file, you will not be able to register for classes.
-
Purpose: To have all your previously earned credits transferred into Pacific and applied to your overall degree.
-
What you need to do:
-
Transcripts: Connect with previous college/university to have them send official transcripts to Pacific directly
-
Visit the website of the school to look for directions on how to send an official transcript
-
Pacific’s preferred method: Send electronically to admissions@pacificu.edu
-
or if mail is your only option:

Once you have completed steps 1-3:
Step 4: Wait for an email and Schedule your Advising and Registration meeting!
Transfer advising and registration can start as soon as we receive your transcripts and they are evaluated by our Registrar’s Office. Virtual and in-person appointments are available and are scheduled for a full hour. Our advising team will email you when we are ready to schedule an Advising and Registration appointment.
Step 5: Prepare for and Attend your Advising and Registration Meeting to go over your transfer credits, graduation requirements and timeline, and register for fall semester classes.
Please do not worry about class availability if you see closed or waitlisted classes. Pacific prides itself on working with our transfer students to stay on-track and continue moving forward in their programs.
