Here are some of the ways that the School of Graduate Psychology's Sabiduría students have been supporting the mental health of the Latinx community in Oregon affected by COVID and the recent sociopolitical climate and our plans for continuing this work.

Black History Month
Join in a month filled with discussions on race and equality, Oregon’s exclusionary practices, Black history in Forest Grove, and how to make real progress on the social justice front.

Pacific University offers a wide range of scholarships to support students pursuing their undergraduate or graduate degrees. Most of these scholarships for 2021-2022 have application deadlines from Feb. 15 to March 1.
Chinese Club Presents Lunar New Year Celebration
The Pacific University Chinese Qilin Club has partnered with other cultural clubs on campus for two weeks of collaborative celebration of the Lunar New Year.

Join Pacific University's Visiting Writers series for a virtual author talk with Ada Limón at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25. Limón is the author of five books of poetry, including The Carrying, a National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry. Register for the Zoom link.
In partnership with Pacific University, Providence Promotores are holding Facebook live events to help support the Latinx community. The live events focus on mental health and well being and include topics such as stress management, depression and suicide prevention.
