Pacific University's Nancy Ann Neudauer, the university's Thomas and Joyce Holce Professor of Science, was awarded the Mathematical Association of America's 2021 Certificate of Meritorious Service.

The CDC now encourages everyone — vaccinated or unvaccinated — to wear a face mask indoors in public areas where there is substantial or high transmission. While Pacific University is not implementing new mask mandates at this time, we strongly encourage all members of our community to follow this CDC guidance.

Fregoso is pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Teaching and English Language Learning, or BEd, at Pacific University. The flexible program is designed with flexibility to support community college transfer students, as well as K-12 classified staff interested in becoming teachers. Students study at Pacific’s Woodburn, eugene or Forest Grove campuses, or in hybrid programs from their own communities, and they are immersed in local schools.
