In Memoriam: Michael Stewart '61

Michael Stewart '61 died on July 1, 2021 at age 82. In 1958 he attended Pacific to be an optometrist, but left after one term and embarked on the first of many adventures in his life. Stewart joined the National Guard and became an electrical technician. In 1963, he began working at his father’s real estate firm in The Dalles, Ore.

Stewart is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Joy; daughter, Erica; son, Justin; granddaughter, Kelsey; grandson, Airman; brother, Jeff; sister, Laurie; and many nieces and nephews.
