Write for rights
There is a quiet power in writing letters, and this Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Pacific University invites you to bring this power to bear on global injustice. Please join students in the UC Fireside Lounge from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, for treats and letter writing in support of Amnesty International's Write for Rights.

Kara Putman
"Once here, Kara particularly focused on Act in Kindness Day and the Love Rocks initiative, highlighting her strengths in building a community of care. As a future dentist, Kara has traveled internationally with Global Brigades, and has worked to establish a chapter of Global Brigades here at Pacific — still a work in progress, but without Kara's initiative would not even be seed here."
