During the 2019 NWATA District 10 Conference in Spokane, Washington, Megan Sarles, (’20) and Emry Wells (’20) gave oral presentations during the student forum. 
Dr. Dana Bates collaborated with Brent Norris MPAS, PA-C , in the planning and implementation of the SIM-Man into the testing for the General Medical Course.

Kelly Strasser
Athletic Training Student Kelly Strasser was awarded the “Best Oral Presentation” at the 2018 Northwest Athletic Trainers’ Association (NWATA) District 10 Clinical Symposium in Portland, Oregon.
Second-year Athletic Training student, Erin Guidarelli, was given a $450 grant from the Oregon Athletic Trainers Society (OATS) to attend the iLead Leadership Conference in Dallas Texas in February of 2019.
Dr. Jessica Moore, EdD, ATC will join the Athletic Training Program as a Full-time faculty. In her primary role as Assistant Professor, she will share her expertise in AT 600 General Medical Conditions as well as Co-Teaching varies courses alongside Dr. Jeffery Kawaguchi and Dr. Dana Bates. 
Dr. Sarah Cook, PhD, ATC will join the Athletic Training Program as a Full-time faculty. In her primary role as Assistant Professor, she will share her expertise in AT 530 Prevention & Treatment of Athletic Injuries as well as Co-Teaching varies courses alongside Dr. Jeffery Kawaguchi and Dr. Dana Bates. 
School of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training — Student Volunteers
School of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training students volunteered for Community Action, a non-profit organization that assists residents of Washington County in need.
Rebecca A. Reisch, PT, PhD, DPT, OCS, has earned tenure from Pacific University.
Dr. Jeff Kawaguchi spent the month of July as the athletic trainer with the U-19 USA Women’s National Basketball team, as they competed in the 2017 FIBA Women’s World Cup.
