Evaluators with the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities will be on campus Oct. 4-6, as part of our accreditation cycle, evaluating how Pacific delivers on its university mission. Three forums will take place for faculty, staff and students to provide confidential feedback to evaluators.

Oregon's new paid family medical leave goes into effect September 2023. Pacific is approved to offer a private equivalent plan through The Standard, which comprehensively reviews Pacific’s leave of absence, accomodation and disability programs.

The construction team was able to successfully shoot four shear walls the week of Aug. 21, and continue to make steady progress on window installation, framing, brace walls, and MEP rough-in inside the building.

Maliah Jobe ’22
Maliah Jobe ‘22 always knew she wanted to be an educator. A major in Spanish and her cultural curiosity led her to a minor in International Studies and English to Speakers of Other Languages as well as a TEFL certificate, and a Fulbright Scholars Award.
