Please join the Pacific University Doctor of Science Program in celebrating its very first cohort to graduate from the program!  We are pleased to announce that 15 graduates received their Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degrees on January 31.  Congratulations to the Class of 2022! 
Santiago Perez Aud '22
Santiago Perez AuD '22 earned a $3,000 scholarship from CaptionCall, a company which makes phones for people with hearing loss with real-time speech transcription. A third-year graduate student, his research focuses on health disparities related to diabetes and hearing loss, especially among diverse populations.
The Staff Senate has collaborated with CGE to offer Fall LGBTQIA+ Staff Workshops for November and December. These workshops will be facilitated by Joey Grafton (he/him), CGE co-chair, and are designed to be small, individualized workshops for Pacific staff. Schedule a workshop today!

The Recovery Challenge Grant from the U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife funds work by Pacific University Professor Dr. Rich Van Buskirk and partners at the Woodland Park Zoo in Washington and Washington State University.

The Master of Social Work degree prepares students for advanced practice in the social work field, with a focus on values and ethics, theory, and field skills. Launched in 2014, the program is based at Pacific’s Eugene Campus but will expand in Fall 2022 to be available on the Forest Grove Campus as well.
The Internal Revenue Service has just announced the 2022 tax year annual cost of living adjustment (COLA) flexible spending account limits for 2022 are increasing. To allow for any changes, Open Enrollment is now re-opened until 5 p.m. (PST) Monday, Nov. 22.

As the semester trundles on toward finals week, Outdoor Pursuits wants to remind the Pacific community to take breaks and utilize opportunities to get outside and get moving!
