The Doctor of Science Program Celebrates its First Graduating Class

Please join the Pacific University Doctor of Science Program in celebrating its very first cohort to graduate from the program! 

We are pleased to announce that 15 graduates received their Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degrees on Jan. 31, 2022. These students recently received their master of science in physician assistant studies degrees from the School of Physician Assistant Studies and opted to immediately enroll in the very first cohort of doctor of science students that started classes in Fall 2021.

These 15 graduates completed the one-semester Doctor of Medical Science Program, which was specifically created for the physician assistant who has graduated in the past two years from Pacific University's School of Physician Assistant Studies. This one-semester program adds one semester to the students' 27 months of PA education.
