Zoraida Espinoza '22 Named Outstanding Senior in Social Science
Zoraida Espinoza '22 was one of two seniors honored with the Outstanding Senior in Social Science award at Pacific University's 2022 Undergraduate Awards Ceremony.
Espinoza is a double major in politics & government and Spanish. She was a cultural ambassador for the Center for Languages and International Collaboration, a BIPOC Peer Mentor at the Student Multicultural Center, a legal intern for Pacific University, member of the Undergraduate Research Scholarship Creative Inquiry Summer Institute, an Undergraduate Student Senate representative, student representative on the Spanish Department's hiring committee, an assistant in teaching English as a Second Language at CentroCultural, on the Dean's List six of eight terms, and winner of the Forensic Talent Award. She will attend Lewis & Clark Law School in the fall.
Espinoza is “the total package," said Politics & Government Professor Paul Snell. "She is an outstanding, hard-working, compassionate student."
The other senior named Outstanding Senior in Social Science was Deontae Massey-Johnson '22.
