Pacific University faculty members have been granted promotions and sabbaticals for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Faculty Promotions

In March 2022, promotions in rank were approved for the following faculty:

  • Dr. Katie Bell, Teaching & Learning, associate professor to full professor
  • Dr. Ryan Bulson, Optometry, associate professor to full professor
  • Dr. Pauline Cawley, Pharmacy, associate professor to full professor
  • Dr. Fan Chen, Business, assistant professor to associate professor. Dr. Chen also was granted indefinite tenure.
  • Dr. Tzurei Chen, Physical Therapy & Athletic Training, assistant professor to associate professor. Dr. Chen also was granted indefinite tenure.
  • Dr. Bryan Cichy-Parker, Learning & Teaching, assistant professor to associate professor. Dr. Cichy-Parker also was granted indefinite tenure.
