Dr. Bryan Cichy-Parker Granted Tenure at Pacific University
Dr. Bryan Cichy-Parker has been promoted from assistant to associate professor and granted indefinite tenure at Pacific University.
Dr. Cichy-Parker is coordinator of the graduate special education teaching licensure program, and his research interests focus on culturally responsive and sustaining services for students with disabilities. He also is the chair of the LGBTQ+ Caucus of Special Educators associated with the Council for Exceptional Children.
He joined the faculty of the School of Learning and Teaching in 2016, following positions as a professor of special education at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota and two years as a special education teacher in Hillsboro, Ore.
He holds a PhD in educational psychology from the University of Minnesota.
