Stephanie Mulligan

Director, Spring 2025

Stephanie Mulligan is a stage director in both the professional and educational arenas. Favorite recent shows include The Secretaries (Willamette University), Coming Up For Air (world premiere), Leading Ladies, Red Hot Patriot, As You Like It, Circle Mirror Transformation (Linfield University), The Seven Wonders of Ballyknock (world premiere), Dear Galileo (world premiere), The Outgoing Tide, Parnassus on Wheels (world premiere), Brave Smiles, Love’s Labour’s Lost, The Laramie Project, Murder is My Business, The Guys, and The Comedy of Errors. Stephanie began her professional career as a stage manager, and she is eminently grateful to have worked with and learned from such notable American directors as James Edmondson, Allen Nause, Penny Metropulos, John Dillon, Aaron Posner, and Nancy Keystone. Based in the Pacific Northwest, she is a frequent participant in international programming, through which she has collaborated with India’s Mahesh Dattani and Lillette Dubey; Vietnam’s Đo Doan Châu and Đang Tu Mai; and Australia’s Cate Blanchette, Robyn Nevin and Andrew Upton. Stephanie has been a guest lecturer at several American universities; and at theatre and film schools in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Sydney, Australia. Stephanie received her BA in Theatre Arts from Linfield College. She is an Arts Envoy for the U.S. Department of State, and is a proud member of both Actors’ Equity Association (AEA) and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE)
