Dr. Scott Klemens received his BS in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine from California Lutheran University in 2005. He went on to attend Southern California College of Optometry, where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2009.
Scott Klemens, OD, FAAO
Scott Klemens is an Associate Professor for the College of Optometry and serves as the Director of the Forest Grove Eye Clinic. He previously was an adjunct assistant clinical professor at Midwestern University while practicing full-scope optometry, including ocular disease management, contact lenses, and routine eye care in a large multi-disciplinary setting at Cigna Medical Group in Phoenix. Currently, Dr. Klemens is a consultant for EyePacs, which helps screen for diabetic eye disease in underserved populations, and he also serves as an officer in the Air National Guard, providing eyecare and ensuring medical readiness for pilots. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
