Pacific University’s Theatre Department is proud to present the world premiere of Tunnel City by Grayson Ashford, directed by guest artist Elliot Lorenc '20.

Set at the turn of the 20th century, Tunnel City tells the story of infamous troublemaker, Harry Allen, and his scandalous exploits across the Pacific Northwest. Bar fights, bootlegging, and disturbing the peace are just the beginning—he’s also America’s most notorious transgender man. Through a series of interviews with anthropologist Miriam Van Waters, Harry recalls his time in the railway camp, the people he knew, and what it means to be notorious while no one really knows you.

Tickets are free for students and $5 for general admission.
