Alison Santoro, RDH, BSDH
Alison Santoro is the Director of Clinical Operations and a full-time clinical instructor for the School of
Dental Hygiene Studies. She completed her dental hygiene education at Pacific University graduating
with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Health. She also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise
Science and a minor in coaching at Pacific University prior to enrolling in Pacific’s Dental Hygiene
Program. She currently is enrolled in the Master’s of Nonprofit Leadership program at Pacific University.
Alison previously worked as a part-time clinical instructor with the School of Dental Health Science while
working as a lead dental hygienist out in a local general private practice prior to her full-time clinical
faculty position.
Alison is a member of Sigma Phi Alpha, the national dental hygiene honor society. She is also a current
member of the American Dental Hygienist’s Association and the American Dental Education Association.
As a student in the dental hygiene program, Alison received the Outstanding Graduate Award from the
Alumni Association at Pacific University. Alison also played softball for Pacific all 4 years during her
undergraduate schooling.
