On November 21st, Casey Minnick, SPT (Class of 2025) and Dr. Tabitha Galindo, PT, DPT, Neurologic Clinical Specialist (faculty) provided a peer-reviewed professional lecture titled "Narcolepsy: Physical Therapy Considerations" through the state professional association, APTA-Oregon. This one-hour virtual PT Ed Talk offered an overview of narcolepsy, a neurological sleep-related disorder, in the context of physical therapy. Participants learned practical educational strategies to empower patients with narcolepsy and enhance their overall well-being.
