Green Slips are Going Away
If you received your election ballot via mail, you might have already had a taste of our new package processing system: Digitalized Software. This new system allows the mail room to process packages faster and will switch us from the green slip notifications to email and/or text notifications.
You can check out their 'Getting Started' page to get a general idea of how things will work and what options there are, but here's the gist of it:
- When you receive a package, the mail room will take a picture of it and send you a notification that it's ready for pickup.
- Once you're ready to get your package, come on down to the mail room service counter like you normally would. Show us your Boxer ID and then we can either pull up your package using the QR code you were sent, or by searching for your name.
- If you use the QR code, then thats it! By scanning the code we're marking that you took that package so you're all done.
- If you don't have the QR code, then we'll have you sign for it similar to how you sign the green slips right now.
- BONUS: If you want someone else to pick up your package for you, we no longer require that you email us - you can leave a comment on the package that you're authorizing someone else to pick up for you. Just remember to put their first and last name so that we know which Alex you're authorizing.
You should have received an email from Digitalized Software earlier in the year to set up your account, but if you haven't done it yet - that's okay. When you're on the login page, click "Forgot Password" and you can reset your login to get in and check things out.
If you have questions, remember that you can always email mailservices@pacificu.edu to ask. We'll be here till December 20th and will return on January 2nd with our regular hours of 9 am to 4 pm.
