New Timecard Attestation Procedure Effective December 29, 2024
Payroll will implement a new process to strengthen compliance with the Bureau of Labor and Industries and enhance our timekeeping system's accuracy and efficiency for all hourly, non-exempt employees. Effective December 29, 2024, all hourly, non-exempt employees will be required to attest to the accuracy of their timecards as part of the approval process.
What this means for you:
- Self-Attestation: You must review your timecard for accuracy and submit it for approval.
- Manager Approval: Your manager will review and approve your attested timecard, ensuring that it aligns with company policies and procedures and the Bureau of Labor and Industries break and meal periods.
Why this change?
- Strengthen compliance: Adhering to strict timekeeping practices helps us maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Audit recordkeeping: Payroll can generate reports attesting to compliance for payroll audits by various internal and external parties.
