Celebrating 175 Years of Purpose at Pacific University
Join Pacific University in celebrating 175 years of purpose!
Since 1849, Pacific University has been a place of belonging, welcoming students to be a part of something greater. At Pacific, we live lives of purpose, on purpose, uplifting our communities by educating students who have a passion for service. Here, students become the educators our children need, the healthcare providers who care for our families and neighbors, the leaders and innovators who make our communities stronger.
As we celebrate our 175th anniversary, our eye is fixed on the future. In a changing world, we are boldly imagining how Pacific’s mission will thrive for the next 175 years.
We invite all members of the Pacific community — students and employees, alumni and friends, partners and neighbors — to join us in celebrating the impact Pacific and its people have made and the innovation ahead.
We kick off the spring with a new, public State of the University address and celebration in Beaverton in February, and we’ll be traveling to cities around the West to celebrate with alumni and friends.
Join us at the following events to hear the latest from President Jenny Coyle, see the recently recovered Boxer I, connect with Pacific people in your area, and celebrate your pride in 175 years of Pacific University!
