Hannah Studer, MSW, LCSW, CADC-II
Hannah is a social work educator, leader, and scholar located in Portland, Oregon. Hannah's work as the Deputy Director of a multi-county, peer-driven, non-profit allows her to move theory to practice as she designs impactful services that align with the needs, governing requirements, and culture. Hannah's critical lens serves both colleagues and students as she teaches and consults on course mapping, field instruction, and program design for MSW programs. Hannah is a Doctor of Social Work candidate at Walla Walla University, focused on examining the perpetuation of whiteness and neoliberalism within social work discourse, through the methodological lens of multimodal discourse analysis. Hannah has an insatiable curiosity that fuels her inquiry into areas of social work that are overlooked and under-examined, and often the places where hegemony is maintained. Hannah enjoys reality television, watching TikTok, and spending time with her many elderly pets.
