Prepare for Annual Staff Performance Review
The annual staff performance review is an opportunity to document achievements and goals to create alignment, recognition, and shared purpose between employees and their supervisor. Review the steps and instructions provided to support constructive participation.
New this year: Human Resources is requiring all staff employees and their supervisors to review, update and submit their position descriptions if the most current position description on file with Human Resources has not been updated within the last two years, i.e., Effective Date of Position Description is dated before July 1, 2022. All revised position descriptions must be uploaded along with the completed performance review using the Upload link. Position Descriptions will be referenced for compensation and other human resource related studies for the upcoming fiscal year.
Review – Employees & Supervisors
- Competency Model
- Instructions for choosing and completing the appropriate Performance Review Form (manager or individual)
Employee
- Submit completed form to supervisors by July 12, 2024 - Due date has been extended to July 26, 2024
- Individual Performance Review Form 23-24 (not supervising employees, except possibly students)
- Manager Performance Review Form 23-24 (supervising employees, other than student workers)
- Review your position description if dated prior to July 1, 2022 and update as applicable
Supervisors
- Complete employee review
- Review employee’s position description for accuracy
- Schedule one-to-one meeting for discussion
- Upload completed and fully signed review forms (manager and individual together) and revised Position Descriptions by August 26, 2024
- Name the document: Employee last name, employee first name
