May 2024 Commencement Wouldn’t be the Same Without You

Commencement wouldn’t be the same without you. Please consider assisting on Saturday, May 18, for one or both ceremonies, and welcome our guests to the Forest Grove Campus for one of the most important celebrations in a family’s life. 

The commencement committee needs 45 staff members to register and join the team. 

Event staff assist in many ways with student and guest support. If you like to drive, consider driving a golf cart and shuttling guests around the campus. Are you more of a people person? Consider greeting and showing guests to their seats or handing out programs.

There are many ways to help. Complete the registration form and select the time that works best for you, the 9 a.m. undergraduate student ceremony and/or the 1:30 p.m. graduate & professional student ceremony.

Event staff members need to arrive on the Forest Grove Campus approximately two hours before the ceremony starts. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

If you are an hourly or non-exempt employee, please work with your supervisor to adjust your schedule to assist at this event. Exempt staff are eligible to receive up to four hours of floating holiday time for assisting with one ceremony and up to eight hours of floating holiday time for assisting with both ceremonies.
