Turmoil in the Middle East: Supporting Each Other and Standing Together Against Violence and Hate
Pacific students, faculty, and staff are invited to join a facilitated conversation oriented toward supporting and understanding each other and standing in solidarity against violence and hate, particularly that arising from the Israel-Gaza war.
This dialogue will be focused on listening and contemplating shared values together. It is not a debate, an open forum, a decision-making process, or a lecture oriented toward understanding local or global issues. In this structured dialogue, participants will have an opportunity to share their experiences and listen to each other in reflective conversation intended to uplift our Pacific community.
You do not need to have deep academic knowledge about the region or current events to participate. If you're curious about this event, please come! Everyone with an open heart is welcome.
This event will not be recorded and is not open to the public.
