Bring Back Dishware on Dish Day

From the beginning of the semester to now, Pacific Dining has spent a total of $30,000 in new dishware. While dishware is not supposed to leave the UC, our current inventory has been depleted to a level where we need to use disposable dishware to maintain service.

Please help us in restoring our inventory by participating in Dish Day on Monday, Nov. 13.

The dish room in the UC near the soda machines is open during normal service hours, where you can return your dishes. There will also be designated tubs in the UC all day. Please join us on Nov. 13 by returning any dishes you may have borrowed! This helps Pacific Dining return to our normal service standards and maintain sustainability.

As a reminder, if you need to take food on the go, please use a to-go box instead of taking dishes. To participate in the to-go box program, it is only a one-time charge of $8 and that’s it! Bring your dirty box in for a clean one or get a carabiner if choosing to dine in. This carabiner will allow you to get a clean to-go Box the next time you need one. You can even ask the person working the register for disposable utensils!
