We Need Your Help on Dish Day

From the beginning of the semester to now, Pacific Dining has spent a total of $30,000 in new dishware. And while dishware is not supposed to leave the UC, their current inventory has depleted so much that they need to use disposable dishware to maintain service!

Please help us in restoring our inventory by participating in Dish Day on Monday, Nov. 13.

Designated tubs will be in the lobby of each residence hall on Nov.l 13 so you can return any dishes you may have borrowed. This helps Pacific Dining return to our normal service standards and maintain sustainability. You can also return dishes to the dish room near the soda fountains in the UC during open meal services.

As a reminder, if you need to take food on the go, please use a to-go ox instead of taking dishes. To participate in the to-go box program, it is only a one-time charge of $8 and that’s it! Bring your dirty box in for a clean one or get a carabiner if choosing to dine in. This carabiner will allow you to get a clean to-go box next time you need one. You can even ask the person working the register for disposable utensils!
