Record Retention Policy Update
Two new policies were recently approved that provide guidance on ensuring records are adequately protected and maintained. The new policies are regarding student records and finance and administration documents. These policies link to a schedule that lists various documents and records within university departments and how long they should be retained before being destroyed.
These policies are in accordance with all regulations related to the retention and storage of records required for Pacific University. Departments responsible for materials designated for permanent retention must follow procedures for management and retention.
